Krishna Sagar Rao seeks BJP ticket for Chevella mp seat
After 13 years of active contribution to the BJP, he formally sought the party’s ticket to contest for MP seat from Chevella Constituency

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana Chief Spokesperson and noted organisational strategist K Krishna Sagar Rao has applied for BJP party ticket to contest for Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha Elections this year from Chevella Parliamentary Constituency, Telangana.
He submitted a formal request for ticket allocation to BJP State President, Chairman for State Election Committee and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, and Dr Laxman, MP-RS, President, National OBC Morcha and Member BJP National Election Committee, and Party incharge for Chevella Constituency AVN Reddy.
The 51-year-old organisational strategist hails from Muthyampet village of Mallyal mandal in Karimnagar district. He has been associated with organisations like ABVP, Ramakrishna Math and Rotary International. He has been a visible face and voice of BJP in the State for over 13 years.
He has earned respect as an ardent BJP worker both inside and outside the party. He has the ability to connect and impact both educated urban voters and rural voters equally. He can outrun other party’s contestants in effective communication and calibrate a winnable election strategy.
On the occasion, Krishna Sagar Rao said: “After 13 years of active contribution to the BJP, I have formally sought the party’s ticket to contest for Member of Parliament in the General Elections this year from Chevella Parliamentary Constituency, Telangana.”
He further said, “Chevella has a large urban and semi-urban voter base and two rural assembly segments. I understand that the party has its own process of selecting the candidate. It considers many factors that affect the possibility of a win. If the party fields me as the candidate, I am sure we will win this seat.”
Rao added, “If the party considers me fit enough and gives me the ticket as a party candidate, I humbly seek your support, best wishes and active participation in my first fight to represent the people of Chevella Parliamentary Constituency in the Indian Parliament.”
